Zayed Khan was born on April 27th 1980 in Mumbai to superstar Sanjay Khan and Zarine Khan. Zayed studied at Jamnabai Narsee School in Juhu, Mumbai till sixth grade and then, he moved to Welham Boys School, Dehradun and then to Kodaikanal International School. While at school, he met his love Mallika Parekh and he started dating her, he later went to study Business Administration at Montgomery College, Maryland, but he left it mid-way and headed to join the London Film School where he did a two year course on film-making.

Zayed returned to India with one goal, which was to join Bollywood. Zayed’s older sister Suzanne got married to Hrithik Roshan and Zayed was just accompanying his brother-in-law for a movie shoot. It was then, that he got spotted and had his first movie in hand ‘Chura Liya Hai Tumne’ opposite Esha Deol.
 
Zayed made a great impression as an actor, but his lean physique was a major snag. Zayed however; has worked on his limitation and has developed a muscular physique with the help of the star instructor Satya of Barbarian gym in Mumbai. Zayed impressed the audiences and left the critics in complete awe with his performance in ‘Main Hoon Na’.

In November 2005, Zayed finally tied the knot with his childhood girlfriend Mallika Parekh and threw a grand wedding reception, which was attended by the ‘Who’s Who’ of the glamour world.
 
Zayed is also launching a new production house called Kingdom Films with his dad Sanjay Khan; and the young actor would not only act in the films being produced by his home production, but will also script for the movies. Zayed is also the brand ambassador for International Pizza Chain ‘Pizza Hut’, ‘Miranda’ and India’s biggest fashion brand ‘Pantaloons’. Zayed has been living with his parents so far, but he has bought land in Juhu, Mumbai to construct a splendid bungalow, which will be designed by his wife Mallika.
