Sushmita Sen was born on November 19th 1975 in Hyderabad to Indian Air Force officer Shubeer Sen and his wife Subhra Sen. This Bengali girl attended the Air Force school in Delhi in her formative years. Sushmita Sen was spotted at a Delhi pub by a designer, who proposed ramp walking to her. Sushmita started modeling when she was eighteen; in 1994 she entered the Miss India pageant and was afraid of losing it to Aishwarya Rai. Sushmita with her intellect and style surpassed Aishwarya and won the Miss India crown. Sushmita Sen was also; the first Indian to be crowned as Miss Universe thus; making the entire nation proud.

Sushmita on returning to India joined Bollywood and signed Vikram Bhatt’s ‘Dastak’ as her debut movie. Sushmita fell in love with Vikram Bhatt, who divorced his wife to be in a relationship with her. Sushmita was also; signed as the face for Coco Cola in India. Sushmita’s next big movie was ‘Biwi No 1’ opposite Salman Khan in which she danced her way to success with “Chunri Chunri”. Sushmita Sen broke off with Vikram Bhatt and started dating Hotelier Sanjay Narang. Sushmita’s career got better after ‘Main Hoon Na’ in which she played the sizzling teacher. To prove her versatility as an actress, Sush has done movies of all genres comedy-‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya’, horror-‘Vaastu Shastra’, social drama-‘Chingari’ and the thriller-‘Samay’. Sushmita has also; acted in an International project ‘Karma Confessions and Holi’ opposite her ex-boyfriend Randeep Hooda.
