Minnisha Lamba was born in 1984 in Kashmir to a Hindu Family. Minnisha’s dad worked in the hospitality business which gave the actress a chance to travel around the country. Minnisha graduated in English from Miranda House in Delhi. She pursued her modeling career just for fun as she always planned to be a journalist.

Minnisha appeared in many TV commercials like Cadbury, Hajmola, Airtel, and Sunsilk. While doing her Cadbury commercial, Minnisha impressed Director Shoojit Sircar, who offered her a role in ‘Yahaan’. ‘Yahaan’ was a perfect launch pad for Minnisha and she steeped into Bollywood with conviction and grace. Minnisha’s dream role is of Kate Winslet in ‘Titanic’. Minnisha is known for her sincerity in Bollywood and the actress is sure taking her right step forward as an actress.
