Kay Kay Menon may not be the quintessential Bollywood actor, but he sure is making his strides in the Hindi film industry. Kay Kay was born in Kerala, but was raised in Pune. While in college, he was very active in theatre, but decided to pursue MBA and landed a job right after graduation. Kay Kay still longed for acting and one day he gave it all up and started acting as part of a theatre group.

In the mid-1990’s Kay Kay Menon made his debut as an actor in ‘Bhopal Express’, but his career train did get derailed as the movie went unnoticed, and so did his ‘Dansh’, ‘Paanch’ and ‘Chal’. Kay Kay breathed a sigh of relief with the release of ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi’, but this time it was Shiney Ahuja, who stole the limelight.

Kay Kay was finally recognized for his craft in ‘Sarkar’ in which he played Big B’s older notorious son. Kay Kay also bagged Madhur Bhandarkar’s biggie ‘Corporate’; his co-star Bipasha Basu quoted him as her favorite actor. Despite limited scope he did manage to make an impact in the movie.

Kay Kay is married to the famous television actress Nivedita Bhattacharya. The actor believes that his failures have made him a modest person and despite not being very successful, he is happy with whatever he has achieved as an actor.
