Ayesha, a Leo was born on August 10th 1985 in Mumbai to a Gujarati dad Nishit Takia and a Half-British, Half-Maharashtrian mom Farida. Ayesha studied at St Anthony’s Girls High School and has a younger sister Natasha. Ayesha’s mom Farida got her started in modeling career when she was three and her first big break was the Pepsodent TV commercial.
As a teenager, Ayesha started doing music videos for Falguni Phatak and the famous “Shake it Daddy” remix. Ayesha signed Sunny Deol Production’s ‘Socha Na Tha’ as her debut movie, but the project got delayed and ‘Tarzan-The Wonder Car’ was her first release.
Ayesha also won Filmfare and IIFA’s Promising Debutante in 2004. Ayesha is dating the famous Restaurateur Farhan Azmi and plans to settle down with him in the near future.
