Amrita Rao - Amrita was born in a Brahmin family on June 17th 1981. Amrita was still studying psychology at Sophia College in Mumbai when she auditioned for ‘Fairever Cream’ and got selected.

Amrita made her debut in ‘Ab Ke Baras’ opposite Raj Babbar’s son Arya Babbar. She shot to fame after ‘Ishq Vishq’ and also won the best debutante Filmfare award for the movie. Amrita did a hat trick as after ‘Ishq Vishq’ she had two superhits ‘Masti’ and ‘Main Hoon Na’. Amrita received critical acclaim for her performance in Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Vivaah’.
