Aditya Chopra is the youngest and one of the most successful directors in Bollywood; older son of Yash and Pamela, Chopra was born on the star date May 21st 1971.
Aditya started his career as a screenplay writer and then, after assisting his dad with ‘Parampara’ he made his debut with ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’, which became a blockbuster and played in theatres for almost a decade.
Although, part of the media industry, Aditya is an introvert and never makes any public appearances at events or awards. His younger brother Uday Chopra is an actor and was launched by Aditya in ‘Mohaabtien’. In 2001, Aditya married his childhood friend Payal Khanna; Payal is an interior designer by profession and has designed the entire swanky Yashraj studio in Andheri, Mumbai.
Aditya Chopra has taken his dad’s banner Yashraj Films to new heights by producing many superhit blockbusters like ‘Dhoom’, ‘Hum Tum’, ‘Salaam Namaste’, ‘Veer Zaara’, and ‘Bunty Aur Babli’.
Aditya’s close proximity with actress Rani Mukherjee led to differences between him and his wife Payal and the two ended up filing for divorce.
Aditya also is believed to be engaged to Rani Mukherjee and plans to get marry to her once his divorce goes through. Currently, Aditya and Rani are also rumored to be living together. Aditya is considered to be the most reclusive person in Bollywood.
