Iqbal Khan and Rucha Gujrati gear up to play the lead in ‘Waaris’.

After quitting ‘Choona Hai Aasman’ Iqbal Khan will be next seen in Smriti Irani’s new show on Zee TV. Iqbal had made a comeback on ‘Choona Hai Aasman’ and his character did get popular, but the actor got bored on the show and decided to quit.

Besides Iqbal Khan, Rucha Gujrati too has been casted for this mega budget family drama on Zee TV. Rucha was earlier seen in ‘Bhabhi’; the show was taken off air and replaced by ‘Hamari Devrani’, the actress however did not remain out of work for long as Smriti signed her for her home production.

‘Waaris’ is touted to be Zee TV’s big show and Smriti Irani is working on the casting with great care as she wants the best talent to be the ‘Waaris’ of her show.
