It was the Premiere night of her movie ‘U Me Aur Hum’ and Kajol was in a shock as she learnt about the sad demise of her father.
 
Kajol’s dad Shomu Mukherjee was not under the weather for some time now and was even hospitalized as he suffered a cardiac arrest that same morning around 8:20 am.


Kajol and Ajay rushed home after the premiere as they heard the devastating news. The actress is said to be in a traumatized state; she is sure acting tough and has trying to portray a brave front for her mom Tanuja and sister Tanisha’s sake.


Shomu Mukherjee was the youngest son of Sashadhar Mukherjee the founder of Filmistan studios and he was also the producer-director for various films like ‘Ek Baar Muskura Do’ (1972), ‘Nanha Shikhari’ (1973), ‘Chaila Babu’ (1977), ‘Fifty-Fifty’ (1981), ‘Pathar Ke Insaan’ (1990) and ‘Sangdil Sanam’ (1994).


Kajol shared a very close relationship with her dad and is said to be very depressed, but she along with her hubby Ajay are supporting mom Tanuja; the scene is quite like ‘U Me aur Hum’ right now at the Mukherjee residence as the family are working as a team to share the pain and give strength to one another.
