Last week, we shared the news of Ritiesh and Genelia allegedly getting serious about their relationship, and that they are considering settling down real soon as well.


However; based on sources close to the family, there seems to be an issue as Ritiesh being from a conservative Maharashtrian family his Father Vilasrao Deshmikh, who is currently the Chief Minister of Maharashtra is keen on bringing home a Marathi ‘bahu’. Besides, Ritiesh’s older brother is married to Aditi Pratap, who belong to the the Maharashtrian community as well.


Genelia’s family, who belong to are Anglo-Indian Christians, are apparently quite open-minded about she dating Ritiesh.


Ritiesh is sure having a tough time after his family expressed their apprehensions for Genelia’s, and we are sure the poor actor is busy humming Genelia ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’.
