She is undoubtedly beautiful and has translucent skin but Sonal was shocked when director Nagesh Kukunoor asked her to wear no make-up in ‘Aashayein’. Sonal sneaked in between shots and did some under eye makeup but Nagesh was too smart to notice and he would ask her to wash her face.

Finally, Sonal decided to follow the veggie diet, the actress is fond of chicken but she gave up completely so that her complexion looks clear and glows. Sonal admits that the having only green in her diet did wonders as she managed to look pretty sans make-up, the actress is looking great in the promos and her story is a ray of ‘Aashayein’ for all those planning to be vegans.
